Facebook Trick

As you have labels on any product , similarly you have "tags" in Facebook. Just like labeling, you can give a label ( tag ) to your friends in your posts that you daily update. 

This is nothing but a link to their profile as soon as you tag them. Suppose, any photo you are uploading, in that you want to name your friends, you can just by "tagging" them. 

In Facebook, you can tag anyone in photos, posts, etc. The simple way to tag people is using the symbol "@" before posting and after that type any letter. The list of groups or people appear. You can select the one whom you want to tag. By doing so, after you tag them, the notifications appear in their timeline too to whom you have tagged. 

Simple. Just a simple usage of "@" symbol, you can do tagging. Like the usage of "#" tag in Twitter. 

In the image, you can see the @ symbol and after that a letter typed "a". In a fraction of a second you can see a list appearing down where there are many profiles. You can select the one for tagging.

Have you ever noticed the logo of Facebook? Well all imagine that there is a blue colored icon in which the letter "F" appears in small letter. True. But there is one more thing that you may not have noticed in the logo that is the pale blue color line that appears as underline. That is gone now in the recently changed logo for Facebook. 

Look at the image above. You will get the difference now. The left image displays the old logo and the right one is the latest one. What changes the developers have made in the designing of new logo is that the blue color line below the "f" is removed. Also the letter "f" is made to touch below the edge of the icon. 

But if we think , what is the reason behind changing the icon? Do you have any idea? Please share. May be just a new look!!!

You must have visited many websites or Facebook fan pages. You must have liked their display page image. You felt like taking and pasting it in the Facebook chat window and share with your friends. That time you must have thought that it is a dream. But dreams do come true. Well a simple way to show the image of your choice from any website or any Facebook Fan page, etc, you just have to copy the user name of the Facebook fan page. 

For example, the image in Facebook page : "Facebook tips , tricks and hacks". If the profile image you want to apply in the Facebook chat window then it is very simple. You just find out the end name . In this link,  https://www.facebook.com/Facebooksecretsandtricks, the name of the fan page is "Facebooksecretsandtricks". Well that's it. You copy it out and enclose it with double brackets, like this [[ ]]. 

 In the above example, enclose it in [[Facebooksecretsandtricks]]  in the chat box and press enter. And see the image now. Interesting , right? 

As Facebook grows more and more interesting day by day, and most accessed social networking site day by day, the tricks and secrets are also grow further. As many options, more and more tricks and tips for you. It is known that all the youngsters and those who know to operate internet, daily access Facebook at-least once or twice or may be online the whole day. Yeah!!! Facebook is just like any other best friend of ours and always we share images, thoughts, pictures, links, videos, etc which are called as status updates. 

The pictures that are uploaded by you or anyone of your friends which are seen on your timeline, they can be made into a video in Facebook. It is just like any other tip. Here I will not call as trick, as it is a tip or way to make the photos and images in Facebook into video. 

Suppose, you have shared some pictures of your dog and if someone else has uploaded where you comment or like or otherwise, then both the pictures can be attached and converted into a video. 

The pictures and images can be changed in the video format using the simple way , that is, PIXABLE.

Hence, once try this option and see the difference of your Facebook photos getting transformed into a video. This video you can upload into Youtube and track the stats (if you want to).

When we type a word in Facebook chat, it will be just a word and no impressive emotions with it. To make it somewhat highlighted , let us learn a trick to make it bold, italics and underline as we do in our normal word documents or excel spreadsheets, etc. 

It is possible to make the word in a sentence highlighted. 

Suppose, you are going to type a sentence as , "Hi, I am waiting for you in the XYZ lake".

In the above highlighted sentence, may be you just want to highlight any word only bold and underline or both, then you can do so. 

To make the word "XYZ lake" bold : 

Type in chat as : *XYZ* lake. Here by using the "*" symbol, before and after the word , it will make the word bold  as : XYZ lake.

  

Today many of the Facebook users use chat from their mobiles or iPhones or iPod. Sometimes it may happen that you are in office and you want to keep informed your Facebook friends. The latest news as per the sources, states that the Social media giant, Facebook, will now follow the footsteps of another Social media giant, Twitter. As the Twitter uses, hashtag, i.e, the use of "#" symbol before any word , which can be used as keyword for the specific article or news regarding that keyword.

Internet today is all based on keywords. If you want your article or your post or your website to get noticed, then it has to be keyword specific. Keywords play an important role in the internet surfing or searching.

For example, in Twitter, any user may post a tweet regarding the "global warming". And if before that word, the hashtag is used, then it becomes a keyword specific, like #globalwarming. If anyone across the globe is searching for any website or article or news about global warming, then he may include the # symbol before the word. And the results are in front of him. 

Now in the same manner, Facebook is also planning to adopt the use of hashtag , that will help users to organise comments and posts by topic. 

Still this is in the testing mode. But this particular hashtag will be in use shortly. 

So, now be ready to use of hashtags in Facebook too.

I have come with a new  Facebook trick. This time regarding the Facebook status updates or what we call it as "post". Everyday we log in to Facebook and share some beautiful sayings, thoughts, images, videos. It gets displayed on the Facebook timeline. Suppose, you want to impress someone while posting your status with some buttons, then grab this awesome trick to do so. 

In one of my posts earlier, 5 latest Facebook emotions with codes, some interesting codes were discussed. In the similar manner, there is a trick to use buttons for posts.

To do so, you can go to the app and enter the text in the box provided. Simultaneously, you can see the preview of the text that you have entered. Then you can change with some interesting font types options displayed. Then click on the "Set as Status" button. 

You can check by logging in to your Facebook account and check the wall. What you have entered there is appearing here on your wall. Great!!!!
