Facebook V/s Twitter - Who is better
Social networking sites are getting more and more popular these days. All, including businessmen, teenagers, advertisers, etc take the correct use of social media sites and make their brands popular. Teenagers are the main ones who get connected with their friends. Some use for learning, some for building popularity of a product, some others for displaying information, some use it for giving the latest news,etc. Oh, yes , how did I forget about the news!!! What is going in the world, tech news, market news, business news, social media news, health related news, entertainment news, etc are the news that we search for daily updates. Then in that case how can one stay uninformed if these news are not updated on the social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
There are many social networking sites where you can get connected with some latest news around the world. The sites like Facebook, Twitter are familiar to you, other than them , you can get from MySpace, Google+, hi5, bebo, etc.
As you can recollect, the main feature of social networking site is to connect the people. Other than that there are many other categories of features that can be listed down.
- Networking features
- Profiles
- Security
- Search
Then there are some differences too. Like :
- Minimum characters
- Usage
- Sharing
- Images
- Videos
- Chatting
- Commenting
- Pages
- Tools
Somewhat similar. Right?
Now what makes them access daily are the attractive features that make them popular than others. Facebook lets you share images , videos, etc. Twitter builds brands.
Well lets not talk like this. I will analyze some important factors that will differentiate them from each other.

Lets not get deep into so much as to make them a fighting rivalry. Well both are good at their own places, best in their own ways.

Photo comments facility available for users to comment on Facebook posts instead of words
Do you comment on your anyone's status updates or posts? Surely you do. But use of texts were done. Below image is the one example of it.
Now recently updated news states that Facebook has made the users possible to add comments using images or photos.
It lets you comment with a photo.
There is a big difference when you post comments with an image as image gets read faster by all than words. In this fast growing world and technology, one has to move fast and share their ideas to many faster and to many people.
Well this may be a fresh change in the social media world of Facebook, but I think will make a lot of difference. Some may think this is nothing and very boring news. But just give it a thought. Will it save your time by typing words to express yourself. This can be done with a single click of image. Just add an image and say it.

How to "SORT" updates in Facebook - News Feed sorting tricks
New updates daily in Facebook are always welcome. We all love them and like some fresh news and updates daily from our fellow Facebook lovers. In English language you must have come across, good, better , best. Right? Means sorting in Facebook in "Recent" and "Top" stories, works similarly. Categorize some new updates in top and recent ones. How to do it? Let us find out.
Now in Facebook, you can sort the stories or updates in simple words. The sorting can be done in "Top" and "Recent" ones.
There is an option called "SORT" when you log in to your Facebook account. Have a look at the below image.
As you can see the option in above image, you click on "Sort" option and two sub-options appear. They are "Top" and "Recent". Accordingly, you can click as per your need. Then you can see the change in the updates.
Just zoom the above image and you will do it on your own. The News Feed is now sorted.

Send large files upto 1 GB through "PIPE" in Facebook
Latest news in Facebook , HURRAY, sending files to anyone made simple. You can use PIPE, a newly introduced application for Facebook users. Recently in one of my posts, I have stated that we can send files via Facebook chat. Now you may have a question or doubt arising in your mind stating that actually what is the difference between sending files in Facebook chat and sending files via PIPE? I had also doubted this option. I got an interesting and amazing feature that cleared my doubt. It is nothing but the option of "Locker" in PIPE. Yes I know I am very fast in providing you all the details. Let's start with what is "PIPE".
PIPE is an application in Facebook that lets you send files upto 1GB file size. For this app, you have to first give the permission of accessing your details to this app and then you can proceed.
To do so , visit this link: https://apps.facebook.com/pipeapp/.
After the page is loaded then it will ask for permission. Grant it by clicking "Okay" button and then the app loads on the screen.
In the above image there is a button visible that is to be clicked for sending files. But before that an option named "Friends" is available for your to select any friend you want to send file to.
What are you waiting for. I know you want to send your music , songs, photos, videos , etc to your friends. Just select the friend , click the middle button and select the file. Say ok. And see the magic that occurs on screen!!!!!
You will see that the file is sent. But if the friend is offline, then app will ask for how many days the file has to be stored in LOCKER, and you have to set that many days. But in this also , you can set upto 5 days. Set it and notify him about it after the prompting of the app immediately.

Quick steps for setting your "Trusted Contacts" in Facebook
Now-a-days, there is lots said about "Trusted contacts". I am sure you may be aware about "Trusted contacts". In one of my posts, I have given an informative article about the same. You can have a look at the post.
As said about it, you can recover the lost password through your known and trusted ones. You can get it done by setting the contacts and informing them. As the name suggests, it is only for the "trusted" ones who will never disclose your private passwords to other people.
To set the contacts in your "Trusted " list:
- Click on "Account Settings"
- Select "Security" option at the left
- Click on the option "Edit" in the "Trusted contacts" category
- Then enter upto 3 contacts. If below 3 then it will not accept and will ask for entering at-least 3 contacts. So select carefully.
- Then lastly Save
You can have a look at the image below which shows clearly how to set.
This way you can set the trusted contacts of your choice for regaining your lost password.
