How to update your facebook status via any mobile device
Have you observed any of your friends who own Smartphone, Android, etc and access Facebook? Well Facebook is an application found in almost many mobiles. The status updates made using iPhone or any other device, by your friends now may be a dream of yours.
This dream will be true by using some apps on any mobile device. This is possible for you too.
Just some clicks away and you can impress your friends too. Which mobile device do you own? iPhone 4, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy, or iPad?
There are plenty of apps online that you can impress your friends on facebook wall and will be displayed there .

Bold, Italics, Underline in Facebook chat
Facebook, called as Social Networking giant, always has something impressive techniques and tricks for everyone. Facebook lovers access daily like Gmail account or any other email.
Facebook chat in to day to day life is the prior thing to use in the young generation. Every teenager likes to chat on Facebook. Some know the tricks for some emotions and other impressive codes and images and cartoons. Some just enter the text in the Facebook chat message. Sharing is just like caring.

When we type a word in Facebook chat, it will be just a word and no impressive emotions with it. To make it somewhat highlighted , let us learn a trick to make it bold, italics and underline as we do in our normal word documents or excel spreadsheets, etc.
It is possible to make the word in a sentence highlighted.

Suppose, you are going to type a sentence as , "Hi, I am waiting for you in the XYZ lake".
In the above highlighted sentence, may be you just want to highlight any word only bold and underline or both, then you can do so.
To make the word "XYZ lake" bold :
Type in chat as : *XYZ* lake. Here by using the "*" symbol, before and after the word , it will make the word bold as : XYZ lake.
To make the word underlined:
Type the word in the chat as : _XYZ_ lake. It will look as XYZ lake.
To underline and bold the word:
Type as : Hi, I am waiting for you in the _*XYZ*_ lake. It would appear as : "Hi, I am waiting for you in the XYZ lake.

Facebook Chat from Desktop - Tip to access Facebook chat from desktop
Today many of the Facebook users use chat from their mobiles or iPhones or iPod. Sometimes it may happen that you are in office and you want to keep informed your Facebook friends. Then it is not possible for you to open Facebook account in office and chat. In this case, you need a software that will be able to get connected to your FB friends and side by side you can concentrate on your work too.

Use of Hashtag (#) - now by Facebook too
The latest news as per the sources, states that the Social media giant, Facebook, will now follow the footsteps of another Social media giant, Twitter. As the Twitter uses, hashtag, i.e, the use of "#" symbol before any word , which can be used as keyword for the specific article or news regarding that keyword.
Internet today is all based on keywords. If you want your article or your post or your website to get noticed, then it has to be keyword specific. Keywords play an important role in the internet surfing or searching.
For example, in Twitter, any user may post a tweet regarding the "global warming". And if before that word, the hashtag is used, then it becomes a keyword specific, like #globalwarming. If anyone across the globe is searching for any website or article or news about global warming, then he may include the # symbol before the word. And the results are in front of him.
Now in the same manner, Facebook is also planning to adopt the use of hashtag , that will help users to organise comments and posts by topic.
Still this is in the testing mode. But this particular hashtag will be in use shortly.
So, now be ready to use of hashtags in Facebook too.

I have come with a new Facebook trick. This time regarding the Facebook status updates or what we call it as "post". Everyday we log in to Facebook and share some beautiful sayings, thoughts, images, videos. It gets displayed on the Facebook timeline. Suppose, you want to impress someone while posting your status with some buttons, then grab this awesome trick to do so.
In one of my posts earlier, 5 latest Facebook emotions with codes, some interesting codes were discussed. In the similar manner, there is a trick to use buttons for posts.

To begin with, if you want to add some magic feature to your posts with some magic around, then you can use an app called "MagicStatus" that can create cool posts and will post on your timeline.
To do so, you can go to the app and enter the text in the box provided. Simultaneously, you can see the preview of the text that you have entered. Then you can change with some interesting font types options displayed. Then click on the "Set as Status" button.
You can check by logging in to your Facebook account and check the wall. What you have entered there is appearing here on your wall. Great!!!!

5 steps to fake your Facebook location
As a Facebook user, you must be knowing that there is a map that is displayed on your timeline which will show where exactly you are on the earth. It is a good option to know others that you have visited so and so place. What if for some other reason of yours , want to show some other destination other than your real one that you are presently staying in. There may be many reasons to do so. In that case, there is an excellent tip that will fake your Facebook location on the map displayed for your readers.
- A Firefox add on , Geolocator, works great with this trick.
- Then also download User Agent Switcher add-on .If you are using Firefox then simply download the add-on.
- Run Geolocator from the Tools menu and add a new Fake location you want.
- Also, Run User Agent Switcher , from the Tools menu which works for iPhone or any smartphone.
- Then log in to http://touch.facebook.com and check in . A prompt will popup asking you to select your location that you have just created. Select that option and finish the steps. That's it.
